    Superb

Loved the dining room and bar/library area and the rooms were excellent

Didn't like the entrance area before reception, thought it was very ordinary and hard to control persons going In and out. I also considered it a bit too dark from a security point of view.

    Fabulous

Beautiful Hotel and great staff from word go. The restaurant is expensive but worth it. Rooms are comfortable if a little bit small, though stylish. The rooftop deck and cupola are quite nice, and the library is a must see for a relaxed meeting and coffee/tea.

The NoMad is in midtown so be prepared to cab it up and down town every time you leave the hotel unless you are visiting midtown. Sometimes the some of the doormen were a bit out too relaxed, talking and not noticing things, but really for the most part they were great and went out of their way to help out.

Welcoming and very helpful staff. Very comfortable rooms with all of the in room amenities that you could ask for.

    Fabulous

Quirky decor. Cosy comfortable rooms. Lots of amenities and plenty of towels. Very clean. Large king sized bed (bigger than UK king size). Good mattress and snug duvet. Free-standing bath in room was a great luxury for tired feet. Free bicycles available to borrow at reception!

Tea or coffee making facilities in room would have been nice.

I loved the room - very roomy for NY and very beautifully decorated.

    Superb

The NoMad isn't just a luxury hotel, it's really a thinking person's luxury hotel. The interiors are a thoughtful, smart blend of old and new. The artwork is very specific and interesting. The feeling isn't just stereo-typical 'French,' it's an old world French vibe, with Art Nouveau modern glamour meeting stately, rich traditional. The art injects a spirit of youth and cool that feels very 'now' French. The lobby's velvet seating and furniture invite one to sit and wait, even without reason. Our room's luxury was more sublime and real than the usual smoke and mirrors of most hotels. Marble double sinks, beautiful wood flooring, Asian rugs, Frette linens on the most comfortable bed, a near-perfect shower experience--from product to pressure, and a deal maker for me--dimmer switches on every light.

We stayed for about 8 days and we had, between us, only one drawer to share. We had to move mini-bar snacks out of the other drawer in order to use it. The closet was substantial enough, but shelving was a bit high to store socks & underwear... That's really my only complaint. Not bad.

    Superb

The ambience, the staff, the cocktail bar

Quite expensive for non 'luxury' hotel. Could hear noise from the bar at night in our room

The good atmosphere and the sense of Paris The rooms are big and well decorated

    Fabulous

Lovely comfy beds. We were facing into the atrium which made the room a bit dark but had the advantage of being very quiet. The restaurant was excellent although the wine list is a little pricey starting at $60 a bottle.

    Superb

The Hotel is beautiful, food is amazing, most staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly- have to mention the Maitre D, an english guy who went out of his way to get us a table on Friday night- such a nice man. Location was perfect for us, right near fifth avenue and a short cab ride from meat packing district, Soho etc. we will definitely be using this hotel again and my husband comes to NY on business often and has already been recommending it!

As I mentioned before, most staff were amazing just a few who were not so much, one female receptionist behaved as if she were bored to death and as we were paying at the time I felt it was pretty rude and a couple of the bar stewards were a little off but everyone else went out of their way to ensure we were happy. I think the bedrooms could do with a full length mirror and maybe a little more drawer space. the food is delicious but expensive so be prepared and the room service breakfast was disappointing.

    Very good

    The style

The personnel of the sigmature restaurant who had an attitude and showed her personal rude perception of me, without no reason for that during me trying to have a casua early dinner. As a customer service, she should keep her opinion with her.
